SEA Dog Scuba Divers is located in Fort Pierce, Florida on the Treasure Coast. SEA Dog Scuba Divers is a privately owned PADI scuba outfit that trains divers from open water through assistant instructor status. SEA Dogs even offers diving experience for handicap and special needs individuals via HSA.
SEA Dog's teaching style focuses on giving students the individual attention necessary to allow each diver to feel both confident and safe in the water. We offer both private and group classes. Classroom and confined water classes are taught in Fort Pierce, while open water diving is completed at dive sights along the east coast of Florida extending to the Keys.
Robert Walsh
Robert is the owner and instructor of SEA Dog Scuba Divers. Robert completed his open water certification through SSI in at Bonneville Sea Base just outside of Salt Lake City, Utah during the winter of 2010. He moved to the Caribbean Island of St. Kitts shortly after and over the next 3 years logged over 600 dives. During his time in St. Kitts he worked his way up through PADI's training courses. He completed his instructors training in Key Largo, Florida in 2012. During these 3 years he also completed his 6 pack boat captains license, as well as a B.S. in business and entrepreneurship. While in St. Kitts he was president of the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine's Scuba club. He also was part of the St. Kitts Sea Turtle Monitoring Networks in water tagging team and beach patrol.

OPEN WATER CERTIFICATION OPTIONS
Open water classes consist of divers manual with classroom session or e-learning online modules, written examination, confined water sessions, and 4 open water dives. Students are expected to provide their own snorkel, mask and fins. The cost includes rental costs of tanks, regulator, dive computer and BCD. Prices listed do not include travel/accommodations for open water dives if necessary.

ADVANCED CERTIFICATIONS
Nitrox Certification
Nitrox certification is highly recommended as the next step following open water certification. Nitrox is the use of oxygen enriched air. It increases bottom time and reduces post diving fatigue when compared to regular air. This course includes Nitrox divers manual with classroom session or e-learing modules, knowledge review, pre-dive simulation and 2 check out dives. Nitrox is not a specialty course that can be used towards advanced open water certification.

Advanced Open Water
Completion of 5 adventure dive courses including deep water, underwater navigation, plus 3 courses of student's choice. See below for complete list of specialty courses offered. Nitrox certification cannot be counted towards advances open water certification

Rescue Diver
The Rescue Diver course prepares you to deal with dive emergencies, minor and major, using a variety of techniques. You must be open water certified and have completed the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive to be eligible for enrollment in a Rescue Diver course. You also need to have Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months. You can complete this training during the Rescue Diver course.

Master diver is advanced certification for those who plan to stay as a recreational diver. Diver Master is for those who plan to move on to professional status. Please call for certification details.
